A new giant screen/ IMAX® documentary film
Guardians of the Wild is a captivating documentary that follows a global mission to save some of the world’s most endangered species. Set against stunning backdrops, the documentary takes audiences to remote wildlife reserves and animal sanctuaries where dedicated teams of scientists, veterinarians, and conservationists work tirelessly to ensure the survival of these species. Viewers will witness groundbreaking efforts to rehabilitate the Galápagos tortoise, save the Tasmanian devil from extinction, protect the last wild rhinos, and safeguard Australian sea lions from habitat destruction and disease. Guardians of the Wild offers a powerful, heartwarming look at the importance of global conservation and the urgent need to protect the planet’s most vulnerable creatures before it’s too late.

Meet Our Guardians
Dr. Rae Wynn-Grant
“I love that my work is in service to the environment. Helping the planet be healthier, I know I'm working towards a positive outcome.”
As an American large-carnivore ecologist, Dr. Rae is devoted to researching the human impact on the behavior of wildlife. In Guardians of the Wild, we see her partner up with Aussie Ark—a conservation organization in Australia—to lend a helping hand to some rambunctious Tasmanian Devils.
Charles Darwin Research Station
A biological research station in the heart of the Galapagos, the team of conservationists here ensure the well being of the Giant Tortoises endemic to the Galapagos Islands.
World Wildlife Fund
The WWF is the world's largest conservation organization, supporting around 3,000 conservation and environmental projects worldwide. In Guardians of the Wild, we see them mitigate the actions of poachers and help save endangered Black Rhinos.
